There are so many scams in Thailand that it seems like a national past time for some of the natives. From the moment you cross the border into the country,
it seems like many of locals are looking you up and down and licking their lips in anticipation of relieving you of your hard earned cash.

Many have fallen victim and many have heard the stories...



Stories of condo deposits/payments being readily accepted and buildings never completed. Where is the money? Poof! Gone.
Pissed away or used up with major purchases for the scammer.

Woeful tales of being charged for alleged jet ski damage and being charged an extortionate amount for repairs or face a beating by the jet ski workers.
And by the way, while you are being beaten by the jet ski workers, there is a distinct possibility that a passerby or two will give you a couple of kicks too. Welcome to Thailand.
